is it possible to run rise vision player on a normal pc that has also other tasks or do I need a real media player who distributes to the screens? and then do I need one media player per screen or is there another solution to play more than one screen (3 screens, 3 different contents) with one player?

Hi Jonas,

Thanks for the question(s).   First - it is possible to run Rise Vision on a normal PC.  But you can't have other tasks going - the Rise Vision Player takes over the computer and you would have to stop the digital signage application to get to your other things on that computer.     So you don't need a 'real' media player, you can use a PC just fine.    Now regarding one media player per screen, no - you don't need one media player per screen even if you want to show different content on each screen.  However - you do need to make sure that you have a media player that is capable of creating a single desktop from all the screens.

Lets say you have a 2x2 video wall that has a resolution of 3840x2160.  Make sure you have a video card in that PC /Media player that can combine them to a single desktop at that same resolution.  Then in Rise Vision, you create a presentation with that same resolution as well.

I hope that helps!
