Flickr images don't fill the placeholder

In searching for an alternative to PicasaWeb, now that it's going away, I've been trying Flickr to send RSS to the old Photo Album widget.

It works, but for some reason, even though the placeholder is 1280x720, and the images that were uploaded were also 1280x720, the images don't fill the placeholder.

Here's the RSS address. There are only 3 images for this test:

https://api.flickr.com/services/feeds/photos_public.gne?id=142093071@N07&lang=en-us&format=rss_200

And here's a test presentation for this Flickr slideshow:

http://preview.risevision.com/Viewer.html?type=presentation&id=9d240e72-74fa-4707-b5c8-ac37cfece...

(We're trying to keep our de-centralized photo slideshow management so I don't have to do it all, and so far, Google Photos doesn't allow for this de-centralized image folder RSS feed.)

Thanks,
Robert

Robert,

Looks like this is being imposed by Flickr. Check out this screenshot of your feed:

Notice that the content has been shrunk down to 1024 x 576, even though as you state, you uploaded at 1280 x 720.

Thanks for the quick reply Robb.

I was afraid of that. I'm trying to see if anyone on the Flickr support site has overcome this.
