I'm trying to get video to work on a presentation, perferably a vimeo channel so I don't have to update everything manually. I'm running Ubuntu 14 on a Solid-Run CuBox i4p  and I'm wondering if anyone had any tips on getting video to play. Should I use chrome or chromium, do I need any plug-ins, etc. Thanks!

Hi Michael,

Are you using the Chrome App Player for the Display?  In this case you would have Chrome installed to use.  Normally Chrome provides a flash plugin to use with the installation of the browser.

Thanks.

I'm using Chromium with the Chrome App Player. It launches but the screen just stays white.

We've not tried Chromium with the Chrome App Player, its possible that there are enough differences between the browsers that prevents it from working with Chromium. Chromium doesn't include a flash plugin as part of the standard installation. Flash will be needed if you're intending to use Vimeo.

Thanks.
