I have created an image widget and using several images as a slider.  The images are created with the same dimensions in pixels.  When displaying the presentation, only 2 of the images display correctly.  The others do not render and the slide states "file is downloading".  Any thoughts on how to correct this issue?

Jason, what is the device, what format images @ what resolution you have saved? Also, are those images stored in the Rise Vision Storage?

We have 2 setups:

1.  We are using the Intel NUC (i3) for our 4K displays...these are all working fine.
2.  For the 1920x1080 display, we are using the Intel Stick.  I copied over the 4K presentation and set the images to "Scale to Fit".  The images are in JPG with a 72dpi resolution.  All of our images are saved in the RV storage.

Jason,

Similar to Darius, I wonder if these images are stored in Rise Storage? If not, is it possible that additional credentials are required to access those files?

The the only thing that comes to my mind is the internet connection. Is that stick on WiFi? If so, see if you can have it wired. This size of pictures might be a bit too much on WiFi for this little guy. The other thing to try is to make separate copies of the same images for that player at its native resolution.

HI there Jason,

Thanks for that additional info! When I look at your Company, I see that some of these 4K images are pretty large, 6.5 and 7 MB. Is it possible that the time the network is a little slow in downloading these images?

Typically that message will show when the image or video is currently being downloaded. Please let me know if it shows up, and if it does not eventually start showing, can you shoot a message to support@risevision.com letting me know which Presentation it is that you are having trouble with?

Thanks!

7MB JPGs are way too large even for 4K. In Photoshop with basic web setup I get 155-250 KB (medium-high) for 4K JPG.

With more quality it can go up to 1.5-2 MB.

Thanks for the feedback...I'll have our media department rework these images.  I think the overall image size is 2460x1745 pixels.  I'll report back with a status once we get this figured out...
