Anyone experiencing this?     I have to manually restart explorer.exe but then it crashes again when the rise player starts.   Any suggestions?

Hi - I'm pretty sure this is normal behaviour you are seeing. The application stops the explorer.exe running to prevent some unwanted issues. If you need to run this again press CTRL-Alt-Del to run Task Manager and under File click Run New Application and type in explorer.exe

To prevent this behaviour at start up close down the Rise Application (x in upper right of the window) which will let explorer keep running so you can do some work then reboot.

Rise support will no doubt respond here with the reason why explorer.exe is stopped from running. As there is no response up till now I thought I'd let you know it isn't a problem you are seeing.. :)

Jim is correct, we do kill explorer.exe upon launching Rise Player for Windows 10. This is due to an issue found with touch interactive screens where a user is able to access back into the desktop after Player starts (see this answer: here also). Are you currently on this OS?

If you want to go back to desktop and you have Rise Player in the Startup process, there is a brief countdown screen at the beginning where you have the option to cancel Rise Player from starting.
