Dual Monitor (Extended Display) on Windows 8.1 NOT WORKING

Running Windows 8.1 x64 Enterprise
Intel HD 4000 ( I think? ) Onboard Display
Latest Rise Vision Build Download

Right now I am unable to get the resolution reported by the display to appear correctly under display in Rise Vision and the presentation which is 3840 x1080 on two 1920 x 1080 resolution monitors via dual extended display settings.

So basically the presentation is not displaying as it should by the software's inability to recognize that there is a dual display setup initiated. The Display settings under "Displays" is only showing 1920x1080 rather than the combination of both. Is this number what is holding it back? Or is there something else at play here?

Is dual output supported only on certain windows os versions or hardware setups?

Matthew,

Are you using our Windows player or Chrome player? We recommend that you use Chrome player for it's ability to stretch across both screens with minimal hardware/driver configuration. It's available at http://www.risevision.com/player/

If you want to span across two 1920 x 1080 presentations, you are correct that you would want the presentation to be 3840 x 1080.

I assumed that the "Chrome" player was for the Chrome OS. I did not know that it was actually windows compliant.

Matthew,

We have isolated the issue and are in the process of resolving it. You should see updates become responsive within the next few minutes. Again, this was not related to your switch to chrome player.

Matthew,

Can I ask if you've had success with using Chrome app player for your dual screen presentation?

I did not have success, but I will try it again today.

Let me rephrase that, the chrome app player loaded on dual screens. However, I could not get it to display any content other than the default template presentation. Decided to walk away from the situation because the entire server seemed to stop responding and give it some time to quit throwing a tantrum lol.

Understood, we had some issues yesterday evenings platform-wide that should be remedied now. As long as the display ID in chrome app player is correct, your presentations should display correctly.
