Does a placeholder's schedule override the playlist of content in it?

In my presentation I had wanted to show "staff assignments" for specific hours of the day, each day of the week. However, when I set to display for example ,a google sheet that has the schedule, I set it to every Wednesday from 8 am to 10 am. I did this for each day but it displayed everything at once and not even for the correct time slot. Am I using the timeline section incorrectly?

L,

Were you previewing the Presentation? A preview does not follow a timeline, it simply shows everything for the duration it is set for. This way you can determine how content is going to look while editing without having to wait for the date or time it is supposed to show.

The best way to determine that it is set correctly is to play it on a Display, and confirm it everything shows as expected. If you have a timeline set on a Placeholder, it should adhere to the timeline in the Placeholder first.

Let me know how you make out!

Thanks for the response. Initially I was indeed looking at preview. Right now it seems to be at least an hour off if it's even working at all. I'll have to schedule some content for when I'm back in the office on the playlist items and see how it does.

No problem! Be sure to let me know if things are not working as expected when you are back in the office!
