Just started to notice after implementing watchdog or Application monitor, our displays are being blocked constantly. Blocking will expire and get blocked soon after.

OK so after looking at the displays, they had multiple instances of rise apps running. App monitor must be doing this?

Hi Mike,

If you are using App Monitor then you should also remove the shortcut to the Rise Player from the Windows Startup folder.  App Monitor takes care of starting the Player.  Can you check this?

Ok it was also in startup. I removed it and will monitor. Thanks!

Another question, the app monitor will sometimes appear on top of rise player causing confusion of course. Is there a way to prevent this?

Thanks again. Mike

Hi Mike,

I haven't seen this happen on any of our displays, but another user reported this morning that their taskbar is popping up sometimes over the presentation.  That would put the player into the background and make the taskbar the focus and and then show app monitor along with it.  Can you see if your taskbar is set to auto-hide and if not, set it that way?

Otherwise, I would look for anything else that is running that may be showing notifications and causing this behaviour.
