Displays are getting blocked on Cenique devices when we are trying to adjust settings.

When we set up a new Cenique Device running the Risevission software there are some android settings that we need to manually change, such as wifi networks, screen resolution, etc.  While changing these settings the RiseVission app seems to autostart and come to the front.  This usually happens multiple times while we are trying to a change the settings.  This has always been kind of annoying but not now it seems to be causing the display to get blocked.  I'm guessing that the repeated app restarts are triggering the block.  What can we do about this?

Alex,

While you may see the display as blocked on your displays screen, your display will actually continue to display content.

Can I ask, are you using the Cenique player as well?

Yes,

It's whenever I am trying to change any kind of settings the menu for the display pops up and interrupts whatever I am trying to change. I have sent an email to support alongside some other issues, wondering if there had been any other kind of development on this? Could it be because my ping gateway keeps failing?

Alex,

Where is this popup occurring? Is it on the Cenique player itself, or in Rise Vision?

Blake,

Basically what is happening is that the Rise Vision App on the cenique is being reopened every 30 seconds which makes it "pop up" over the settings page.

Alex,

If you have the CDMS service with Cenique you can use it to disable the Watchdog App and in the Cenique Settings on the device change the "Auto Startup Interval" to a longer timeline.  If you don't have CDMS access, then the only method that I have found to work is to disconnect the Cenique from the Rise Vision account, make the settings changes and then reconnect the account
