Display shown as offline

Some reason display will not properly contact Rise Vision to get new contact and appears in the Rise Vision portal as offline.

Removed and reinstalled Rise Vision extension and added back to the company with no luck. Made a quick contact but still shows offline. New content does not get pushed to device like usual.

Yes, but only whatever is cached and does not reflect any changes I make.

Are you behind a firewall or proxy of any kind? We aren't currently seeing any widespread issues.

If you are to close Rise Player on the media player, are you able to browse the internet?

Yes behind a firewall but internet access is no problem.

What website does Rise Player go to for content? Same Risevision.com domain or some other domain?

One of the websites, specifically the talkgadget.google.com was being blocked by our organization content filter and has been resolved.

Still having issues on the display updating properly and catching the new content. When I first tested the software a few months ago, the display immediately caught any updates to the schedule and/or display.

Now it doesn't like to take the updated content....

Any advice/ideas?

We have recently made a change to our viewer. It can take up to 3.5 minutes to update content on a display. We are looking at ways to make this faster, or possibly adding a manual method of updating new content.
