Hi all - each morning, my 1884x1044 resoution TV shows as 600xsomething, meaning that everything appears massively zoomed in.
After a remote re-start of the player it displays fine!
Any ideas?
Thanks all

Should probably say - In RV UI, it shows the resolution as the lower value too - so it knows its displaying at that resolution as supposed to being a TV issue. thanks again for any help!

Rise Vision will just report what the display is currently set at.  We don't have any control over what the resolution of the display is.

Does the TV go to sleep over night (as part of a schedule or similar)?  It could be that the communication between the TV and computer is lost and as a result the computer sets itself to a lower resolution.

Thanks.
Ooo - yes good point - The TV is set to auto turn off and on overnight - energy saving is on my mind. Would a black screen presentation that automatically kicks in at certain times be a way to avoid this issue then?
Thanks,

The TV would still be on, so there'd be a glow from it when there is no content shown.

A different solution would be to have the Display automatically reboot just after the screen comes back on.  You can find an example of how to do this here.

Thanks.
