Dashboard overview?

Is there an ability to create an overview dashboard so a central location can view (at any one point in time) what is currently being displayed (or at least scheduled) for a group of displays?

For example, I'd like to have a dashboard setup so we know that these 3 displays are showing the lunchroom content, these 4 are showing the front office content, and these 2 the waiting room content.... All of this without needing to open each schedule, viewing the assigned presentations and displays...

I was thinking something like a matrix of virtual displays from each schedule and then put  on a "single pane of glass" web page or something.

Thoughts?

Thank you,

Paul

Paul,

What you're asking for is interesting, but I'm not sure how you could get a live feed of what's going on at each location without a piece of remote administration software.

You may be able to virtualize each presentation into a quadrant of a presentation with some tricky html, but it wouldn't necessarily be a live representation of what is on each display, just a representation of what's scheduled to be on each display

Hi Paul, at this time we don't have this ability but we have discussing it. Nothing planned as of yet however. Thanks

Thank you both... what I was thinking is much like what Blake says above. Perhaps a segmented/framed page which has effectively a display number or name associated with each pane of the dashboard.

To show it live(ish) It could even be done by adding a unique new display registration number to each schedule which is associated to a panel on the page... The content would go out to the production display of course, but would also be pushed to this "virtual" display on the framed page.

Seems the part missing is the ability to run individual chromium's in separate panels on a single page.

I can do it by deploying 10 physical displays in my office and adding them individually to each schedule; I was hoping there is a way to so the same thing virtually...

Best,

Paul

Paul,

I've changed this thread type to an Idea. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us!
