Hello - I am prototyping  a custom application and would like to use the rise vision APIs.  I sent an email to rise vision support with my Google OAuth Client id and received an automated response that did not mention any approval. Will I get a confirmation when this is approved?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Glenn,

Have you tried submitting your application through developer.risevision.com?

I did.  I pulled the source apis from git.  So I am running on localhost. The google sign in works; but get authentication errors when calling the apis.   thanks

Hi Blake - I think i figured this out... if i change the Root to production (auth.js)  it works - which makes sense since thats where I currently have the company/sub-company profiles.  I assume there is a rvacore-test.appspot.com management environment to establish customer in the "test" mode... true?

if(location.hostname == DEV_DOMAIN){    //ROOT = 'https://rvacore-test.appspot.com/_ah/api'; //Api for local development
    ROOT = 'https://rvaserver2.appspot.com/_ah/api'
}else if(location.hostname == STAGE_DOMAIN) {
    ROOT = 'https://rvacore-test.appspot.com/_ah/api'; //Api for stage environment
}else if(location.hostname == PROD_DOMAIN) {
    ROOT = 'https://rvaserver2.appspot.com/_ah/api'; //Api for github pages
}
cheers!

Glenn,

That is correct, we have a test environment which will not work when trying to authenticate with credentials from the production environment. Glad you were able to work through that, and sorry I wasn't able to help a little quicker!
