cron tab for shutdown with Rasp PI stops auto-start rvplayer

When I set up a corn task to shut down the PI, under the "pi" user account, it kills that auto-start of rvplayer. Can someone advise on this issue? I am not setting up cron under sudo. Not sure how to recover the previous auto-start of rvplayer without restoring completely from backup.. Thanks for your commemnts

Here is the complete version output from one of the devices. All are on same version. I was going to try settingup CRON against root, instead of PI user to see if the helps.....

Looks like I solved this one. If I sudo bash to root and set crontab from that user it works, and upon reboot back into Pi user, it starts RVplayer as desired. Thanks.
