Content scheduled for two screens, not on main screens

A facility where I work has a special open house scheduled for Thursday.  I have created a welcoming message for persons attending.  This message is set up to run on a specific day at a specific time on two specific screens.

Usually, I have content that displays on all screen during the day.  Do I have to remove the two screens showing the alternate content from this group of screen on the date in question?  If I don't will both presentations run on top of each other?  That is my question.

Dick,

Is this special content set up as a Separate Presentation?  Are there already multiple Presentations in the Scedule?  If it is just a single Presentation, add this special one and specify a start and end date/time for it.  Set the Duration, in seconds, to be the same amount of time that the Presentation will be on screen for.  Leave the existing Presentation to be 10 second Durations.  With this method, the special one will start within 10 seconds of its Scheduled duration and will last for its length.  Once done the other Presentation will resume normally.

Thanks.

Yes to your question.  It is a series of screen showing the name of a company and their logo.  I have a separate one for each company, and they transition from one to the next.  It plays continuously from 7;30-5:30 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the other screens will be running a different presentation.  Normally the two screens that will run the special presentation display this content, but not on Thursday.  I wanted to know if I need to remove these two screens from the standard presentation so the two presentations don't show up on the screens used for the special presentation at the same time and overlap content..

From what I see, the Schedule is set to show the Presentation from the 5th to the 7th.

The content items in the MainWindow Placeholder, however, is set to start showing the content on the 6th.

Thanks.

I just looked and it is set up to start today and go through Thursday.  I have to change the time right now, but I can't see the placeholder you referenced for just tomorrow.  Where is that?

The images you have inside that Placeholder are all set to start on the 6th.

You can set all the items to show as Always if you prefer, the Placeholder will then be the sole controller of when it will show up.

Thanks.
