I am using the Google Spreadsheet widget. I have made it to select ranges on various sheets within one Google Spreadsheet.

It works in Preview Mode: http://preview.risevision.com/Viewer.html?type=presentation&id=35e4821b-9463-4b32-ab06-d10dec331...

Before I started rearranging I wanted to view it on my display. But it just shows up as blue with one red block. None of the white type.

Showing to a Chromebook connected to a TV by HDMI.

My other Presentation works fine when sent to the exact same chromebook and display: http://preview.risevision.com/Viewer.html?type=presentation&id=c41c5c97-6823-49ed-abf9-7cd26e02b...

William,

Do you have the Google Spreadsheet published? That's essential. With the spreadsheet open click on File and then "Publish to the Web". You'll see the screen below. Be sure it's published as shown.

Yes I do. It wont even let me choose the Spreadsheet in the Gadget unless it is shared.

When I look at the debug on your preview presentation I see this:

If I try to follow that link to your Google Spreadsheet it asks me to log in. The document needs to be published to the web, not shared.

I misspoke when I said shared. It is published to the web. The gadget one let me attach it unless it is published to the web.

It also works in preview mode but not on the display. When you say it ask you to log in are you going to the preview or are you extracting the spreadsheet location? The spreadsheet is not shared so you wouldnt be able to see it. But it should still work on Risevision.

Hi William,

Like Robert pointed out, you will need to share your spreadsheet as well as publish it.

See configuration steps here: https://community.risevision.com/rise_vision_inc/topics/how-to-set-up-google-spreadsheets-on-rise-vi...

Thanks!

Sorry, what I should have said is "published to the web, not just shared." Oops! Yes, both are absolutely necessary.

William, I think it will not show in RV if you have not shared it with "Anyone with a link can VIEW it."
