using the web page widget to access htttp://www.cnbc.com/live-tv/.  Once on page need to login to cable provider account to enable the live streaming.  After selecting provider the login credential popup does not appear.  However, if player stopped and use local IE browser able to login and stream content in browser.  Only within the player does the login popup not work.  Any ideas?

Hi Aaron,

Rise Player does not support displaying authenticated websites.

When i evaluated the player a few months back it did work.  Has something changed with the Player that prohibits this feature?

I found the following site (https://www.bloomberg.com/live/us)  that is free and does not require authentication to use.  Anyone know of other free streaming non-authentication business news sites?

Aaron, I am using Live Bloomberg stream from YouTube https://youtu.be/Ga3maNZ0x0w for our display. In a browser you gonna get ads, but in the actual stream I do not see those. For streaming I am using Custom HTML Widget with embedded Iframe.

When i tried this i get the following error:  The owner of the web page URL provided does not allow the page to be embedded within and iFrame.  If possible contact the web page owner to discuss x-frame-option

Aaron, which one?

Here is how I do:

- Create playlist in YouTube
- Add desired video/-s to it
- Use your playlist embed code in the HTML Widget:

<!doctype html><html>
<head>
<meta charset="utf-8">
<title>Untitled Document</title>
<style type="text/css">
body {
margin-left: 0px;
margin-top: 0px;
margin-right: 0px;
margin-bottom: 0px;
}
#container {
height: 720px;
width: 1280px;
overflow: hidden;
position: absolute;
}
</style>
</head>

<body>
<div id="container"><iframe width="1280" height="720" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/playlist?list=PLJp6UeapIt7TxS6iMd6dduhEru_j3_Nb7&autoplay=1&lo...; frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>
</body>
</html>

Aaron, using the method I explained above it works without problem for us. This is what we play daily to our guys in the lunch room.

Aaron,

I just tried that URL in the Web Page Widget and it works fine for me. Are you having issues with that feed?

Has Rise  thought any more about  displaying authenticated websites or supporting live tv?

Not at this time, but if we do, we will be sure to share it with everyone!
