Chromeboxes (ASUS) problems with Kiosk mode not found when using player.

I am trying to set up Chromeboxes to run new digital signs using Rise Vision in our building.  I have set up several test presentations and several test screens.  The issue I am having is that when running the player as an app on an already logged in box all of the content displays without issue.  However, on another test system running in Kiosk mode the backgrounds load but none of the content.  We are required to use a proxy and also SSL certificates to access the internet.  Any ideas about what could be causing the issues.

Edward,

Have you set up the chromebox by logging in and setting up the internet access configuration?

Yes.  The box has full access to the internet when logged in.  The RiseVision Player displays everything correctly when used as an app.  The problem shows up when I run the player in Kiosk mode.  Then none of the content pages (RSS, Bulletin, or News Service) shows anything but the base background image.

But, yes the box has access to everything when logged in.

Edward,

Would it be possible to try this outside of your current network and see if content appears as intended?

I am 100% sure it is my network.  I am sure it is related to something to do with proxy settings and certificates that do not load in Kiosk mode but do load once logged in.  I was just hoping that someone at RiseVision ran into this before and knew what I needed to do on the chrome box side to start items in kiosk mode.

Edward,

You may want to contact google on this to confirm what the kiosk mode browser does and does not have access to in relation to network settings.
