Chromebook not sending signal after display is turned off and turned back on.

I have a very simple set up that is working great! With one problem.

I have a display being ran by a Chromebook. As soon as I turn the TV off wait a few mins. Turn it back on the signal is just black. I have to climb up on the ladder and open the chrome book and get it going again.

I seem to have the same issue even if I leave the chrome book open all the time.

I'm sure there is already an answer or solution to this question. Someone please point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

Joey,

It sounds like this is a problem with your hardware. It could be going to sleep, or the hdmi port may turn off if it notices it's display is off. This is something you will want to contact the manufacturer of your hardware for assistance with.

So should I look for support with ACER or Chrome OS?

Joey,

I would look for support from the manufacturer of your hardware, in this case Acer.
