Chromebit and TV resolution issue

I have a chromebit - using version OS 44 that I installed on a TV using RiseVision. I sized the presentation 1920 x 1080 and a only a 1/4 of my presentation showed. So I checked the info button on the HDMI input and it says the the resolution was 1024 x 768. So I resized the presentation in Rise Vision to 1024 x 768. And it's stretching the presentation like it's 1280x768. I tried doing a 1280x768 but that didn't work either. The chromebit shows that the TV is on overscan. I can't change any of the tv settings. They are grayed out. What can I do to make it not stretch?

I would say you need to keep the original resolution of 1920X1080 and then fiddle in the settings of both TV and device to make it work. I am pretty sure that Chromebit is capable of full HD, but I am not sure about your TV. Most TV's have settings for overscan, but if it does not... I would think if this is the TV you really want to use.

As Darius mentioned you may need to tinker around with the overscan and alignment on your device.
Please note also that we have not tested Rise Vision on a Chromebit and see our notice here under Chrome OS Installation regarding the status of the Rise Chrome App Player. Thanks!
