JPC,

The cache needs to download your videos before it can begin playing them. How long are you waiting with no video appearing?

Same problem... Small video files (2-10mb on a 100mb circuit).  White screen in preview for 30 minutes.

Does the preview download ALL the files in the video folder widget before displaying them?

Reed,

Are your files in storage .webm format?

I believe the player only needs to cache one video before it begins playing, however I will need to confirm that.

We have confirmed that all videos need to be downloaded to cache before they will begin playing. We are currently looking into this to decide if this is acceptable behavior, or if it's something we should look at correcting.

Hey blake,
Something i did in my video widget that some have liked is the fact that it lets them know at the beginning that its downloading. This way it lets people know whats going on. Just having a white screen with nothing there kinda gets in the way of whats actually happening. I know other platforms do this so its not uncommon to show a download message on the first load. Just my thoughts. :)
