Can't get images to consistently show in presentations.

We've tried a Flickr feed, Google Photos, and we've now bought RiseVision storage to use the Photo album widget.  We're just trying to get a slideshow of images to run all day, but they constantly stop loading correctly.  Sometimes they'll be moved off center where the place holder is only showing one corner of the image.  The most common problem now is a message just telling us an error occurred retrieving our images.  They run for a little while, but then they get interrupted.  The only thing to fix it has been to republish the presentation, but we have to keep doing this everyday.  Any suggestions?  I'll attach a picture of what it looks like when working, and what we'll find after a few hours, if it's showing anything at all.

Hi Nick,

Sorry to see you're having this issue. Can you confirm that this presentation is named Upper School Display?

I am going to recreate this issue. If I can recreate it, I will either get back to you letting you know if it's a problem with the configuration of the presentation, or I will log a defect with the development team responsible, and they will take over this post from there.

In the meantime, since you said you're using Rise Storage, would you consider replacing the Photo Album Gadget with the Image Folder Widget? This is a newer widget designed to be pointed at a folder on Rise Storage, and play all of the images contained within.

Well, all of them are giving the same problem.  The picture I sent is from Athletics Display.  Prep Display was most recently giving the error message.

And I'm actually using Image Folder Widget, not Photo Album Gadget.  Meant to say that, sorry!

Nick,

Thanks for the updates. I'm going to look into this, I'll reply when I have something to go on. Thanks!
