Cannot load XML file with tag

Hello all,

i try to load an XML file that is provided by german news agency dpa to me via ftp push.
So far so good.
The problem comes with loading the XML file into Rise.

Might be an issue that the file is made with <nitf> tag instead of <module>?

I tried the RSS or import as URL. Both failed.

Any suggestions.
Thank you for your ideas.

Best regards
Georg

Georg,

Have you tried using the html widget to display this content?

Hi Blake,

thank you for your reply.
I copied the XML code directly into the HTML widget right now to check that.
What i got is a blank output of the model.
At least no error - but ok - HTML widget cannot display errors at all I guess

Georg,

A colleague has recommended you take a look at this link to display the xml as html using the html widget. Could you give it a try?

Georg,

I see now. If you want to display this file, you're going to have to create a web page to display it, then use the web page widget to bring it into the Rise Player. There currently isn't a way to import and format an .xml file into our platform.

Thank you again Blake,

already thought it would end like that.... well ok then I will try to figure out how to set up such a page.

Thx for that fast support!
