Hi

Apologies if this is a duplicate thread, I did throughly search for an answer. I am trying to download some of the Rise free store content (e.g. Google Calendar) but there is no "Add to cart" button. I can download paid store content without problem. I have tried different browsers, and have my account logged in and profile fully completed. Any thoughts anyone?

Thanks! Mark

Mark,

The free content that is available can only be added to your Presentation in the Presentation Editor, and can be added as many times to as many different Presentations as you like.

The reason there is no Add to Cart button for these Widgets is because there is no charge or payment associated with these products.

This was my question as well, but here are my additional details: I am supporting a sub-location that is trying to add the Google Spreadsheet widget (and they've tried other free ones as well). When I do that logged in as myself, I see this:

When any of the users tied to that location try to do the same thing, the green Add button is not there. Otherwise the popup is identical.
I tried making them all Purchasers, but that didn't seem to change anything. Any ideas?

Jonathan,

When you are logged into the store (https://store.risevision.com), you won't see the Add button because you can't add a Free item to your cart. In that case, you will only see Continue Shopping.

If you are in the Rise Vision Platform (http://rva.risevision.com), and you open the Content menu in the Placeholder Playlist properties, you will see the Add+ button, because this is a free Widget you can add to your Presentation as much as you want.

I just tested this with a user in a Sub Company, and my own account, and everything worked like a charm.

Let me know if you continue to have any issues. Thanks!

Ah, I get it. Just needed you to answer it a 2nd time, I guess :)
I did not realize my users were trying to add it via the store directly. They actually figured it out on their own and are now adding free widgets from the Presentation Editor without a problem.

I'm having an issue adding one of the free content pieces from within the editor. When we try to access the "Content" from the playlist menu ("Right click in region, "Add", "Content") the pop up store window opens and when we select one of the data options, there is no green add button and no way to close the pop up window and return to the editor. Thoughts?

Which Widget are you trying to add? I just tested this now, and I could add the HTML Widget, Calendar Widget, and Twitter Widget.

Also I can see the Close "X" in the top right corner of the modal to close the entire modal.

The only products you won't see the Add+ button for are media players, or fixed subscription services like Priority Support.

Can you try clearing your browser cache to see if this fixes the issue?

Thanks!
