I've made a placeholder, gone to video and selected single video. I've uploaded a *.m4v file into a folder within rise storage but I am getting an error "Please choose a valid HTML5 video. (webm, mp4, ogg, ogv)". I've read the instructions and it looks like *.m4v should be ok?

If I connect the placeholder to a folder with the video in it it plays fine, it is just if I connect it to the single file.

I believe only mp4 and webm formats are supported by the Video Widget. Rise Vision recommends webm format.

Helen,

M4V is a slight extension to the MP4 container format. M4V is Apple's version, which adds optional DRM-encryption. There are other minor deviations that may cause issues, so for that reason we strongly suggest that the video be encoded as WebM.

You can find some great steps to convert to WebM in this conversation.

I hope that helps!
