After testing Rise Vision for long enough, I sold my company on using it as its primary signage software. Things is, the presentations are all on my personal Google account. How do I export all of the schedules, screens and presentations to their account?

The only method I can think of at the moment is to copy the HTML code from 1 Presentation and paste it into another of a different company. The Schedules and Screens do not follow this methodology, unfortunately, and will have to be redone manually. The displays will have new IDs in the process.

Alex,

Fantastic to hear you are going to be using Rise Vision, we look forward to working with you in the Forum :)

Unfortunately you can't export between companies, however you can change the name of your company at any time and add the necessary users to that Company, or add them as a subcompany of yours and change all your Presentations to Templates and in the newly created company, create Presentations from those Templates.

If neither of those options work, you can always go into the Presentation in your COmpany, go into HTML view from the tabs over on the far right, copy all the HTML code, and paste it into a new Presentation in the other Company.

I hope that helps, let us know if you need anything further.

Thanks!

Alright. Good thing I only have 2 schedules, screen and presentations.
Is there nowhere I can just replace the display ID on the client machines?
Or do I have to reinstall?
Will I have to uninstall the older screen software or just install over it?
Thanks guys.

Alex,

You shouldn't need to reinstall on Windows machines, but you will have to on the Linux boxes. On the Windows machines, simply go to Start --> All Programs ->> Start up, and go to the Properties for the start up item "Start Rise Vision Player". Modify the Display ID of the actual exe file AND the start up target to be the new Display ID, and you should be good to go.

Let us know if you have any trouble.

Thanks!

Can you export files and presentations from Rise Vision?  I need to show a client what a sign design will look like.

Brandon,

Presentations are simply HTML Web Pages. If you're in editor, you can click the HTML tab and copy the text into an HTML editor of your choice.

Do you have any suggestions on a HTML editor?

Brandon,

It really depends on your OS. You can just copy the HTML into any text editor and save it as a .html file.
