Calendar Gadget not working

I am aware of the new Calendar Widget, but do not have time right now to redo the layout for our displays.

One display stopped displaying the Calendar Gadget (randomly) and when I go into the presentation, it states "The calendar could not be read. Please ensure that the Calendar ID is correct and that the calendar is public."

It's randomly disappearing and reappearing on the display and in the preview.

The ID has not changed, nor has the public setting (Double checked and the Calendar is public still). That, and it is still working fine on the other displays, despite showing the same error when trying to edit the calendar.

Any ideas to get this displaying correctly again?

If you're still using the Calendar Gadget, what you're seeing may be a result of what we advised of here.  Google deprecated the API that we used for the old Gadget today.

The only solution I can suggest is to use the recently released Widget.

As mentioned, I can't use the new one because it's not laid out the same and does not display properly by default, so I need to do additional layout.

I won't have time until at least Wed to get to that though.
