Bug in risevision.com website template causing {{metadata.title}} to show as the page title

There's a bug in the way Risevision.com loads its template that causes a browser to cache the template tag, {{metadata.title}}, instead of the titles themselves, making Risevision.com come up like this in autocomplete.

You can see in this pastebin link that the HTML being served is showing unparsed template tags in the response for www.risevision.com.

You can see similar issues in the response for header.html.

It looks like these template tags are being parsed by javascript after page load but that causes issues with anything that saves the title before the javascript corrects the tags once the page is completely loaded.

This could also affect search engine results and page ranking which might explain why it took me so long to stumble across Rise Vision in the first place when I spent weeks researching digital signage software.

Thanks for letting us know Chris!

I see the metadata.title title, but only very quickly, like for a split second, then it goes to the correct title.

I will share this post with our apps team to see if there is something we should investigate.

We're glad you found us, and if you have any questions, please let us know.

Thanks!

Chris,

Just wanted to let you know that this is an issue that we intend to get corrected, but we don't have a specific date on when it will be corrected. Many thanks for bringing it to our attention!
