Have researched all the other posts, read the documentation on blocking and still have no idea why I'm getting my displays randomly blocked continually today.
I'm running an Asus Chromebox with the chrome extension, storage is through Rise Vision, have NO custom HTML whatsoever, have 3 placeholders, one is a static logo image, one scrolls images every ten seconds and the other scrolls videos, again all media is stored on a paid Rise account.  Also running and RSS news feed gadget and the free clock gadget too.
I have been designing the presentation and making numerous changes since yesterday.  The blocks don't seem to last very long but it's happened at least five times today, never before today..
Any ideas?

Scott,

How often are you publishing changes? Is the chromebox being rebooted often? Is it possible it has an unstable network connection?

Not sure how many changes I've published, 20 or so today...  I've only rebooted the box in order to try and get it unblocked, 3-4 times but only after it was blocked.  I did just now power cycle the wireless APs here at the office.  I noticed after posting this that a couple times it looks as though the player restarts itself (not the chromebox but the app itself), I can see that circly, star thingy in the middle with a grayed out background then it comes back after refreshing.  Looks just like what you get when you first open the player app.  When cycled the wireless APs however, I did NOT get that refresh thingy...

Wireless power cycle did not remedy the issue, not finding any connection issues anyway but did see it do the refresh thing again twice.

Have you seen any continued blocking this afternoon? Both excessive changes being published and reboots can lead to blocks. I would like to see if you are still experiencing blocking after those variables are eliminated.

Yup, still seeing it, even changed to a different chromebox, seems to go on for 20-30 mins ok then comes up blocked.

Is this the display named "Bath Area"? If so, I'm showing a very out of date version of Chrome on that device. You should begin troubleshooting by updating it to the latest release.

Yup, I just did the update, I hadn't run this one yet but Showroom is also doing the same thing, both now have 42.0...  They both now report having the latest updates.  Showroom did the same thing even with the update.

Just took a quick glance at your presentation, looks like your RSS Gadget schedule is not scheduled to run until tomorrow. Can you change this to today?

I just did that to disable it, trying the process of elimination but will change it back right now.  Withing minutes of disabling i was back to blocked again...

I'm thinking it didn't like one of the vids I'd uploaded yesterday morning.  I deleted vids one at a time, backtracking my earlier changes and found the offensive one.  It's been running fine ever since.  Unless you made changes Blake that I'm not aware of, I'm gonna go with the vid theory!
