Blank Content (calendar and twitter)

I have been using my display in a test environment, but am looking to move it to production.  Due to this move I changed the name of my presentations and schedules.  After I made those changes now my Twitter feed and my Google Calendar feed are showing up blank.  My RSS feed still works though.  I heard there was a player update they had to roll-back, but restarting my Asus Chromebox several times didn't change my results.  When I came in this morning where the calendar should be was a message suggesting maybe my calendar wasn't public, but I double checked and it is.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

Jay,

Is the calendar using the same calendar ID, and is Twitter using the same search criteria?  Were there other changes made apart from the name change?

Thanks.

Yes, I copied and pasted the Calendar ID directly from my old calendar widget to the new Google Calendar Gadget(?).  No changes were made to the Twitter placeholder and no other changes were made to the presentations besides the name change.

Jay,

Would you mind providing the Presentation ID so we can take a look?  When you're in the Presentation Editor, the ID will be part of the URL, just copy and paste that here.

Thanks.

I made copies of your Presentations and I saw Twitter show up fine in them.  When I preview yours, Twitter doesn't show.  Would you consider removing Twitter from the Presentations (save and publish), and then re-add them back to see if that corrects the issue for you?

Regarding the calendar, if I'm reading this right, all the events are in the past.  The most recent event in that calendar was on November 7th and there aren't any future dated ones.

Thanks.

Okay, I will try that with the Twitter feed.  That is correct about the Calendar.  I was hoping even the days with no events would show in the placeholder though...  Going to try the Twitter fix right now.

I deleted the Twitter placeholder in the one presentation saved and published then added it back, saved and published and it is still not showing up.  I even restarted the player just in case and that area of my presentation is till just blank green.  I am going to try it in the other presentation just in case.

If you preview this Presentation: http://preview.risevision.com/Viewer.html?type=presentation&id=77ff7d2d-d574-4179-b524-81eb46892...

Do you see the twitter feed show?  If yes, can you make a copy of this using the Copy Template link at the top of the Preview and see if that works for you on the Display.  I can do the same for the other one if this works.

In the preview the Twitter feed was showing yes.  Then I copied the Template and added it to my schedule and now on my display it is still not showing up.

Is the Display on the same network as it was previously, and that you're using to Preview?  If it isn't, could there be a block on the network preventing it from getting to Twitter?

You may be able to confirm this on the Display by opening the Developer's tools (press F12) and go to the console tab.  Can you provide any messages that appear relating to Twitter?

Thanks.

Yes, the display is on the same network.  I went in to the settings and double checked just to be sure.  I also realized Chrome was outdated so I updated it to the latest version and restarted.  Still experiencing the malfunction.  Pressing F12 yielded no result.

When you say that F12 yielded no result, do you mean that you couldn't get the developer's tools open, or that there were no errors listed?

I apologize.  When I hit F12 the developer tools did not open.

Are you able to view other tweets?  If you replace the search criteria with from:risevision does that show on the Display?

I will play around with it and check to find out.  For now I just removed the Twitter piece because I need something usable for the displays.
