Black screen, rise vision displaying player offline.

For some odd reason our player will randomly display a black screen. We've tried multiple internet connection settings. The player itself can reach outside websites/apps, however when launching the rise vision player, all we see is a black screen. When logging into the rise vision player, it displays the player as offline. Any help would greatly be appreciated. We've tried restarting the unit several times.

What type of hardware are you using? Are you using the packaged player or the chrome app player? Does it or did it ever play content correctly?
