black screen on video- token?

Can someone give me some more information on the token. I've had half of my players playing black screens in the video placeholder from time to time. Does the token always expire. Does this have to do with scheduling a reboot time? I have some that are playing this while connected by ethernet, not wifi as well. I use android player and use MP4 files.

Ann,

Are you running My Rise Player, or the Cenique player?

You can, can you tell me if the token is the same as setting the player to reboot daily? I'm needing to know how often it goes to rise to grab presentation, etc.

Ann,

Is this in reference to the Cenique Video Gadget? If so, this is not my area of expertise, I'm not exactly sure where the "token" terminology comes from. You may want to contact Cenique support directly with your question.

It's in reference to this message. It was doing the same thing on a windows player so was wondering if it could be the same issue. https://community.risevision.com/rise...

Ann,

Depending on what content you're using to display your Videos, and your player, caching operates differently.

My recommendation would be to use Rise Player with either the Video Widget or the Video Folder Widget. If you're using these, and storing your media on Rise Storage, each video should cache locally and be persistently available even through a reboot.
