Hi Chris,

You don't need to know HTML to be able to create a presentation, you can simply add placeholders and widgets and configure them from the user interface.  If you are new to the platform we do have different options for training (live or pre-recorded, one-on-one) - https://www.risevision.com/user-training/

Regarding not seeing an image set as the background in a placeholder, can you see the same image file if you add it to your display through the Image widget?

Hi Chris, can you please send me a Preview link where it is not working so I can see?

Right now there is a image in the background of the placeholder and i get this http://preview.risevision.com/Viewer.html?type=presentation&id=68bf82db-5972-4834-94d7-34d643389...

if that link does not work here is a screenshot: http://prntscr.com/7upfqn

Hi Chris,

It looks like the issue is the apostrophe in the folder name when you add an image for the background.  I'm going to look into that on my end but I would suggest you create another folder that does not have an apostrophe in it and re-upload your images and link to the new folder.

Hi Chris, I am glad it is working with the new folder.  I haven't seen this brought up before so I have logged a bug regarding the folder name with the apostrophe.  In the meantime I would avoid using special characters in the folder names.
