Just wanted to let people know that I just picked up an Azulle Quantum Access with Lan - a $140 Stick PC running windows 10 preinstalled on Amazon and plugged it in.

It seems to be running pretty well - I can compare to a much cheaper RasPi and say it functions at least as well on our presentation.  It is not intensive, the transitions jitter slightly -- my biggest complaint is my scroll bar (using the depreciated google spreadsheet GADget [not the widget]) slows dramatically on each transition.  I had the same problem with even low end desktops with that.

I'd had a lot of issues with my ubuntu not regaining it's DHCP connection too frequently, and am hoping the windows will address that as well as wanting to eliminate the power hog of a tower that was running the ubuntu installation.

So far so good! Its cheap and easy enough option that I hope it helps someone!

Thanks for setting up a new thread about the Quantum Access LAN mini PC stick :) We get notes coming in from users enquiring about these mini PC sticks out on the market so I believe this will be of use to someone.

Great.  I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised that the installation process of Rise was even easier than I remember!

The only thing missing is the Windows settings optimization guide from before!

Ben,

If you installed from the new installer at https://help.risevision.com/user/create-a-display then everything from the Optimization Guide was automated during install!

Thanks for your feedback on the stick! I love how reasonable technology is becoming!

Along with Blake's comment above, if you have further ideas for optimization let us know - there is also a thread at https://community.risevision.com/rise... for Windows 10. Thanks

How is WiFi on it? We have been using Intel Compute Sticks and without additional WiFi Adapter it was terrible on a weak WiFi network.

I haven't tested much - I purchased this one due to the wired lan connection, but it was running alright via wifi in limited testing - the slowness on HTML item loading I assumed was processing, but perhaps it was wifi.  I'll try to speed test both ways and post the results.

If you want wired connection for that device, you can use one of those: http://www.amazon.com/Inateck-Gigabit-Ethernet-Converter-Network/dp/B00IJU0K2Q/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&a...

Not sure if you knew; just wanted to share. Those work very well for us.
