Authenticated proxy question

I am trying to implement several Rise Vision Raspberry PI's in our corporate environment. We are behind a proxy server. I am following the steps laid out at http://www.risevision.com/display-firewall-and-proxy-settings/ and everything seems straight forward except our proxy server requires authentication. Where do I put the account credentials for authentication? Are there additional lines need for in the RiseCache.properties file and the environment file?

Matt,

Let me look into this and I'll get back to you shortly.

Matt,

I'm taking a look at some older forums threads here and here. It looks like another user had success in creating a firewall exception to bypass the proxy on the Pi Player. Is this an option for you?

I don't have the ability to bypass the proxy server if on our LAN network. We do have a secondary network I can connect them to which is essentially wide open to the internet that we use for vendors/contractors. That is where it is currently and it works if we are using Rise Storage or a web server on the internet for our presentation images. However, my goal was to put these on our LAN and have the images for the presentation hosted on a internal web server so that the images would not be readable to everyone on the internet. Essentially we want to keep as much of the process in house as possible. And if we put the Raspberry PIs on our LAN they much go through the proxy which requires authentication. We only have one unit at this point that we are using as a proof of concept. Does this scenario seem possible? Is authenticated proxy even an option? Thanks for any suggestions.

Matt,

I don't believe we have ever done video behind an authenticated proxy, but I could be wrong. I will do some digging in-house and let you know what I can come up with.

Just to clearify, we don't currently plan on doing video. We will be rotating images that will display various updates and reminders about corporate events. Thanks for looking into this.

Matt,

Right, I'm sorry I probably used some confusing verbiage for you. By video I meant the rise player.
