Audience Visual Analytics with CMS

Is it not possible for RiseVision to have  a Content Management Software (CMS) and Audience Visual Analytics (AVA) that can work simultaneously together in one player. And be able to create gender triggers that the analytics can pick the conditions and display the content when conditions are met.

For example : :“If a 20-second advertising spot is playing and in the last few seconds of its airtime AVA determines that the audience in front of the display is 60 percent male, before playing the next ad, the system triggers ad meant for the male audience in order to increase the relevancy,”

People like me are looking for such solution.

Thanks,

Euphemia

Not too familiar with AVA regarding the details, but my first thought is that if you can embed AVA within a website and use the Web Page Widget, you may be able to pick up further analytics - similar to embedding Google Analytics within websites. The other item is that Rise Vision digital signage are essentially in HTML - also you can embed a HTML Widget. It's an interesting idea though.

Euphemia,

There is nothing built into the platform for that functionality, however as Hannah states above, a good thing to try would be the Web Page Widget.

Thanks @Robb and @ Hannah. but to clarify the Audience Visual Analytics with CMS (content management software) am referring to is for what will work for digital signage.

I found this product in the internet: http://www.quividi.com/vidicube.html and I was wondering  if any in this forum has tested or know how much it cost. It do analytics, but not trigger ads. May be using beacons (with an app in the middle) you can trigger ads to an smartphone.

I know Quividi  +  cms you can create triggering content, based on gender or age group. I don't know how much it cost, but have heard its quite expensive however the best bet is to contact them directly. you can go through this material there you can find list of cms that works with the quividi analytics http://www.quividi.com/blog/index.php/2014/compatible-cms/

Thanks for the link! This is the first time that I've come across AVA in the context for digital signage. One of their latest articles was at ISE.

Much of the software is open source - https://github.com/Rise-Vision - for anyone interested in doing an MVP to test.

My personal thoughts around this technology is around privacy. Even the thought of being tagged on social media without my consent is not something that I want happen, let alone having digital signage do visual-based collection even for analytics purposes (although, it is generally tied with advertising). On top of that, it's also another avenue to have content being denied to certain users. Major platforms (ie YouTube) already do this with geographic-restrictions in which a work around for these types of cases would just be a VPN. So I am wondering what a workaround for digital signage is for users that don't want to be grouped. Another question to address is ability to opt out - how do consumers opt out of this?

I can understand truly wanting to gather as much analytics and data as one can in terms of relevant ad targeting, to the point of crossing legal boundaries such as FCC fining Verizon for the super cookie issue - I was actually reading through the live tweets of the researcher that discovered it from Day 1.

Anyway just some questions in mind as to where things are going for the future (not meant to bring down this particular thread but it has been interesting food for thought).

I appreciate your concern about privacy, but let me explain better to you, for study and little research I have done, the analytics doesn't store images captured.  in fact it detects presence. all it stores is numbers i.e number of male, number of female, adult, kid... total time of view just like that.
this article could give you a better picture of the whole signage + Analytics http://www.narrow-casting.nl/sites/default/files/whitepapers/NEC_WP_AVA%20Measurement_To%20Launch.pd...
