I am using an RSS Sports feed as part of my gadget.  This was set up by Rise when we first installed our video wall. However, I have recently noticed the RSS sports link that is entered in the system contains add that keep popping up on my screen along with the main story.  Does anyone have any suggestions on a free and ad-free RSS Sports feed? I am currently using http://rss.cnn.com/rss/edition_sport.rss which is creating this issue.  Thank you for any suggestions.

Hi there,

A member of our community will be happy to assist you with possible alternatives.

Meanwhile, you can try adding the extension Adblock to Chrome and that will get rid of any pop ups. Let me know if it works when running your display!

Thanks

Shea,

When I try to copy and past the URL, I am getting a message that they are invalid URL's.  Am I doing something wrong?  Do I need to add or change something? Sorry, this is not my area of expertise.

Hi Kristin,

Those URL's all lead to the actual RSS feed. You'll have to go to the url then pick which RSS feed you want from the list and paste it in.

For example http://www.thescore.com/rss takes you to a list of RSS feeds, one of which is http://feeds.thescore.com/nhl.rss. And If you enter http://feeds.thescore.com/nhl.rss into your gadget it will work.

Let me know if that makes sense and if you have any other questions.

Thanks,
Shea
