Will rise vision work with Amazon FireTV Stick?
I already use the FireTV box and it works perfectly with the App, however, the stick is a less expensive solution for a media player, and it would certainly be nice to use that as well.

We've never tested our Player on that device, however a Player available from one of our users that you can read about here may run on it.

I would suggest contacting William with Scott's Digital Signage to see if this is a supported device with his Player. Thanks!

I did order one for $19. I will be testing the app on it. If everything seems to go well in testing i will certainly allow it. I am also hoping for amazon to update the system to fire os 4 which is based off 4.4. If they did that i would be really happy. I will let everyone know once i get some testing done.

It will work and the app is on the amazon store but its very limited  on the things you can do. The library i am using is a bit more ram intensive and was used for the regular fire tv to get video working. I am working with amazon in getting there webview library to work but right now video is an issue. They said they are working on a fix so once i here word on that then i believe i will migrate the app to using the amazon webview. Its on the store and you can try but once you get past a certain point it will freeze. I will keep everyone posted.

Thanks for the update and all of your contributions in this community. We are getting requests to reduce the up front expense (currently using chromebooks) but our content is video heavy and I just am having a hard time finding anything as relaiable. I've tried your android app and its great, but I worry about the life cycle of the sticks I have bought. I don't know if they are going to last.

I have a set out there thats over a yr old and still doing fine. I will say this though its best to flash the firmware every yr just for the sake of it. Keeps the software and Os fresh. :)
