Alternating 3 videos from same Customer

I have a customer who has 3 commercials that I would like to alternate each time my Main Video placeholder area plays.  So first loop through, it would play CustomerVideo-1 and then the next loop through, CustomerVideo-2 and so on.  Can I setup a Customer Folder or "Campaign" for the lack of a better word with the 3 videos in it and somehow schedule it to alternate every loop to the next one?

Bryan,

The best way to do this would be to set up 3 different presentations, each with the videos in the correct order that you want them. You would then use the presentation placeholder to add those presentations to the master presentation in order, you would select Play Until Done on each placeholder to make sure that each loop continues until it is complete.

Do you only make the 3 different presentations the same size as the MainVid placeholder or do you have to copy the entire presentation?  I have the MainVid wrapped with an L-bar with other graphics going on.  I only want to be able to schedule the 3 different videos in the MainVid placeholder in my Presentation.

Bryan,

Make the 3 embedded presentations the same resolution as the video placeholder in your main presentation. Fill the entire sub-presentation with your video placeholder.

OK.  When I make a new presentation, it makes it automatically 1920x1080.  My MainVid window is only 1370x770.  How do I make the new presentation that same size?

Bryan,

You can change the resolution of your presentation by clicking the cog in the top right.

A lot has changed over the past year Blake, any update on being able to do this better like an alternate checkbox?

Hi Bryan,
We don't have an alternate checkbox for this. You can use the Video Widget to loop through a folder of videos while the main Video placeholder plays. However when there are multiple videos and widgets it may work if you state the timings but I am not too sure how well it may work. I did a short test via the example below:

Placeholder 1:
10 sec smallVideoA which runs at 20 seconds
10 sec smallVideoB which runs at 30 seconds

Placeholder 2:
20 sec mainVideoA
30sec mainVideo B

When I do this mini test, it looks like it can loop through but there is a 1-2 second delay just because Placeholder A loaded first so you may not have that a clear cut result with being able to alternate the video loops...
