We already have a 24/7 presentation that shows a couple minutes' worth of content (various images) in a loop.

I'd like to build a second presentation that is comprised of video segments - highlights and features, that play back-to-back, in one strip (not looped), perhaps twice or three times a day. Say, 7:45 am, 11:45 am, and 2:45 pm. At least, essentially, close to those times, when the always-running presentation ends. (Or, it could interrupt the other, I'm fine with that if it has to be that way.)

I'm trying to figure out the right configuration for this.
It is simple to make it so that within the presentation, all of the videos (whether 2, 3, or 4) will play each time.
I already tried having that along with the main presentation in the same schedule, but that just played them both every time in rotation.

When I tried to make a new schedule for the presentation, RV gave an error message that I already had another schedule at the same time: it saw this is a conflict.

Any thoughts?

I can think of 2 options:

1. Have 4 Presentations in your Schedule:
--Presentation A - Runs all the time
- Presentation B - 7:45 am - 8 am  - Is set to be Play until Done.
- Presentation B - 11:45 am - 12:00 pm - Is set to Play Until Done.
-- Presentation B - 2:45 pm - 3:00 pm - Is set to Play Until Done.

If the Presentation is shorter than 15 minutes, you can modify that time, I was just using that as an example.

2.  One Presentation, and the video montage is put into the Presentation in a Video Widget with basically the same setup as above. This Video Widget Item would play at those times, and then it would go back to the other content in that Placeholder. This would be the preferred way if there was other content in the Presentation (background, time, etc) that you wanted to continue showing while the video was playing.

I hope that helps!
