Add New User without gmail

I know I have been trough this before but it has been a while.

I want to add a new user without using a gmail address.
When I go here: https://accounts.google.com/signupwithoutgmail and I enter the email address I want to use for them (company domain/email) it says: "This email address already corresponds to a Google Account. Please sign in or, if you forgot your password, reset it."

When I started to set up the user account under the correct sub-company in risevision, it says there is a duplicate user, which is impossible because they are new and this is the first time I ever entered their information.

Can someone remind me the steps to this? Thanks!

Hi Rebecca,

Can you try logging in as the user that is supposedly the duplicate user?  Once you do that you should be able to delete them if they are in the wrong Company.

Well they aren't even a user yet, so no. The company is not the problem.

Rebecca, the reason I suggested trying to log in with that user is due to the fact that you said you got a duplicate user message.  I am interested in knowing what happens when you try to log in with that user.

In the message you pasted from Google, it said the account existed already and that if you forgot your password, you could reset it.  Can you do that from Google to get your password?

Okay, yes she can login but none of the presentations show up for her. I tried to add her again as a user after she logged in, but it still said "Error user already exists".

Rebecca, once she logs in, she can delete her own user account.  Can you have her do that and then try again?

Try to add her as a user again, or have her try to login again?

Have her log in again and delete her account.  Once she deletes it, try to re-add her under the correct company.

She can do that by logging in, clicking on her picture in the top right corner, selecting User Settings, then clicking Delete.
