Is there a FREE way to add single or multiple (slideshow) images to a presentation? I was able to, then the storage option was no longer free.

Hi Nikki,

Thanks for asking.  You can insert any image that lives on the cloud (and is public) into your presentations.  The image doesn't have to be stored in Rise Storage - that's just a nice option.

I would recommend checking out this article regarding storage HERE

How do I do that for free? I have a school logo and have copied the image URL. Now what? Thank you.

Dawn,

Now you can add the Image Widget to your Presentation, and select the "By URL" option in the Widget settings. Add the link to that image, and as long as it is not blocked or inaccessible in any fashion, you should see it in your Presentation.

Check out this getting started tutorial regarding adding images: https://help.risevision.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002841803-Create-a-Presentation

I hope that helps!

Can you walk me through that concept? Are you referring to using Google+ or Picasca?

We still use Picasa (or specifically picasaweb).  For how we do it, see:

Hi Nikki,

The fact that you are looking for alternatives to Rise Storage leads me to believe you are looking for a no cost way to do this.  But just in case, I wanted to point out there is a widget in the Rise Store called the Photo Feed widget.  It lets you connect Instagram and Google Photos accounts, but it's not free - but it's an option

Nikki,

If it is Windows or Android device, then you can store images directly on your device. I would recommend using memory card - it is small, does not stick out, and you can swap it any time.

Hi Nikki,
I've seen people use Google Slides to embed slideshows, including images.  See this article for more info.

Also can you ask the school to host images for you?  And then once you upload the images, you can add images via link/URL. Thanks!
