I have a number of screen ( 14 ) of which 1 works sort of. the screen in question is added to a schedule that already has 3 screens working fine, If I add the fourth it will not display the content, the other 3 screens are working, If I add the screen to a different schedule it works.

in both case it is a URL

The message on the screen is that " Err name resolution failed "

I have checked the URL from my PC and it works and I have 3 screens working with this URL

Any held advice please

Hi TV Screens,
I had a look at the schedules and displays in your account. It looks like one of the schedules is distributing out to three Displays that are showing as online and one Display that is currently Offline. The name of the schedule is 'dash2'. Could you confirm that this is the correct one and if not, if you can also please send through the name of the schedule in question.

I am not able to determine if the issue is the URL in the schedule since I am getting a DNS lookup error for it. It seems to be something local to that Display but since it's Raspberry Pi device, I would also recommend checking out the Community driven Riseberry thread and cross posting the topic over there too.

Don't think it will be the url, as its not affecting the other 3 screens

sorted, for some reason 3 of the screens worked fine and 1 would not, changed part of the url to IP and it connected, So there is something not quite right with this build, even though its a copy of a working system. that then has it hostname changed / IP etc

TV Screens, Just to confirm, it sounds like you have discovered the issue, and it appears to be a build issue on the actual Pi device. Is that correct?

Some sort of build issue ? not sure, I have checked the IP / resolv.conf etc against a working unit and I can't see any difference apart from the obvious ( ip ) & Hostname , I have another 5 units to setup, I will see what happens

:)

TV Screens,
Were you able to get the Displays working now?
