1 media player (raspberry pi) to test on different resolution screens

We have a raspberry pi that is hooked up to an oddball tv with a resolution that is 1776x952 (weird resolution i know) on our testbench.  My boss did the initial setup of the raspberry pi, so I'm not 100% certain of how he set it all up, but I'm imagining that he DL'd the appropriate player for the pi, linked it to a "display id" and configured whatever other settings needed to be tweaked.

Everything is working great with this oddball tv and the pi....I can create presentations with the custom resolution and it all displays great.  My question is....we have a 1920x1080 50'' TV that I hooked up to the pi this morning, created a new presentation from a template with the same 1920x1080 resolution, but I'm not sure how to get the presentation to display on the new TV.

Do I need to remove the old "Display" when logged into Rise Vision, and re-install the player and somehow link it to the new display ID?  I'm probably confused on how this all works since I didn't take part in any of the initial setup and my boss forgot how he set it all up initially.

How can I use one "computer" (Pi in my case) and bounce around from one monitor/tv to the next to see how the presentation looks on each screen?  There seems like there is an easy setting that I am overlooking...

Thanks in advance

Is it just the single Pi that you have to show Presentations?  You can always just update the Schedule to reflect the Presentation you want to show on it.  Remove the previous Presentation, and then add the other one.

You don't have to uninstall the Player each time you want to show something different.

Thanks.

Hmm maybe I'm not fully understanding something.  We have 1 display called "Bldg A Lunchroom", and this is the TV that has the resolution of 1776x952.  When I click on the Display button and click on "Bldg A Lunchroom" it shows the resolution, but I am unable to change the resolution to be 1920x1080.

I thought I had to create a new display, so that I could incorporate the 50'' 1920x1080 TV this morning, but creating a new display in Rise Vision lingo seems like you would need to have another raspberry pi to go along with the TV.

1)  I hooked up the Pi to the 50'' (1920x1080)
2)  Created a presentation at 1920x1080 resolution
3)  When I rebooted the Pi, the player starts, but displays a default Rise Vision presentation, not sure if this is the default?
4)  If I go to "Schedules">Add Presentation, I can find the presentation I want to push to the TV, but when I click on "edit" located to the right of "Distribution" I only see the "Bldg A Lunchroom" display...how can I add another TV to push a presentation to?

That resolution is read only, and it has no bearing on how the Presentation is played.  If you hook up the screen that is natively 1920x1080, (after a reboot), the Pi will use that resolution and you'll see the values updated on that page.

If you're seeing a default Presentation, it is because the Display hasn't been added to a Schedule.

If you want to add another Display, go to the Displays page and you can add one from there.

Thanks.
