Considering we have 33 sub-companies, our company needs a feature that will help us save time. By creating one content in the high-level (main company) which will enable us to automatically share it with the selected sub-companies. Rather than going into each sub-company and creating content manually.

Oriana,

To create a Presentation to share with your sub companies, you can do the following:

Create a Presentation in your main Company at https://apps.risevision.com, and go into the Presentation Settings. in there, select "Share this Presentation as a Template with your Sub-Companies":

Once you have done that, when your Sub Company users are logged in, they can go to the Presentations page, and instead of selecting Add Presentation, select Shared Templates:

From there, they will be able to see the template Presentation that you have created in your Main Company, and they can create their own copy of it, and do with it what they need to.

Will that work for you?

Thanks!

Hi Robb,

Thank you for your reply. We already do that, that's what I mean by manually going into each account. What our company is looking for is a feature that we can use to automatically push/update content. So that we don't have to go into each sub-company to make a change we can just make a change in the high-level and automatically every account that has the content will update. We tried using embedded ID from the high-level and added it to each account, that was what we were looking for but RV staff said it wasn't supported by RV so we couldn't use that method.

We need something that is a guarantee there won't be any problems in the future.

We just don't want to go into each account to make a change (if there is a change), we want to find a way to save time and just do it once.

Thanks,
Oriana

I can certainly appreciate that Oriana,

I think what you are referring to is an embedded Presentation, and those are not supported in the new Editor. You can read more about that in this forum conversation. That doesn't mean we are abandoning them though, and we are using the feedback listed in that conversation to build a spec for how this will be supported in our new Editor.

We will be sure to let everyone know as soon as we start working on that in one of our upcoming In Case You Missed It posts!
