"Setup Timeout Error: Setup took longer than 30 seconds to complete" during boot phase

Two old players (RisePlayer 3.0.2) are now getting this message at boot time. We had them sent to the office because we were having issues trying to update the players remotely and thought it might have been their network config.  We are still getting this error in the office. We have updated other players from this location no problem and the ping test shows we do have access.

Before asking for a Player update I wanted to make sure that our player has gotten far enough thru initialization to be able to process that update, or do we have to solve this problem first?

Hitting escape does give us access to the Cenique control panel and the lower level control panel. Other than this error things look OK, Ping test works, we do have ethernet access. Have tried clearing the cache and rebooting (reboot stops here).

Any ideas or things to check would be appreciated. But if this is initialized far enough to request the Player update, I'll go there first since I know we have to do that to be able to use the Newer Editor

Hello Paul,

Please send us the MAC ID of these media players. The MAC ID is a 12-digit number like: 11:22:BB:77:FF:44, which is displayed on the Cenique home screen. Attach a keyboard or mouse to the media player. Press the ESC key three times, or press the Home key once,  or R-click three times to return to the home screen.
