IADEA Player is having issues where the Placeholder goes white.
I'm testing IAdea 3350 player and I'm having a lot of issues with placeholders. I'm using Chiropractor Presentation but some of the placeholders backgrounds are white. Chiropractor logo, Chiropractor text, twitter headline and download photoshop file but clock, twitter tweet and foursquare look normal. It's kind of weird. Any idea what is the problem?

Was it showing images earlier? Is the YouTube video playing? Have you made any changes to the Presentation from the original Template?

I wonder if this is related to the IAdea Player specifically, I haven't had any issues with this Presentation.

Images are fine but placeholders with text or images have a white background. Weird thing is that all placeholders doesn't have this problem.
I added one placeholder on the right side of the name at the top but it's white when I don't have any background on it. Just white text.
Preview is fine on my mac but IAdea player doesn't show it right. -

Sounds like this may be unique to the IAdea Player. I've forwarded this to their Support team so they should respond soon.

I'm also having problem with setting up the right time zone. I don't can I control time zone with RV or do I need to do it manually from IAdea player setup. At the moment I can't do it manually from their players setup.
Does IAdea have a contact person who knows about setting up players with RV?
Also it would be good to know what gadgets work and what doesn't?
I suggest that IAdea should send you free players for testing =) -

They actually did send us a free Player, however since the majority of our time is focused on our Windows, Mac and Linux Players, it doesn't get the front seat most of the time :).
Their website has a support portal that you may want to check out to see if you can get faster service there.

Also, regarding the timezone, our Player uses the local time to set the clock, so if the time cannot be set on the IADea player, that may be the issue.
You may want to try somewhere like clocklink.com where you can get clocks that use their servers to show the time.

There should be option to choose the time zone when creating configuration file on your website (http://www.iadea.com/~kelvin.han/rv/r.... It would make things much more easier and all the configuration would be done with one file.

It would be nice if you would have time test their player and report all easy bugs for them. Otherwise I will be asking here on the forum a lot of questions.

I agree. Having more time is always a nice thing.
Support staff from IADea have contributed to this forum in the past. If your're in a situation where you need a more prompt reply, then I would direct you to their support site Robb noted above.
Regarding the issue you are having, what if you removed the YouTube video from the Presentation, do you get better results with the images then? -

I have the same problem with every presentation. Transparent placeholder is not transparent and other bgcolors won't work background is always white..

The issue seems to be related to the fact that IAdea devices do not support Flash. To be sure it will be best if you can provide a sample page so we can confirm. -
