First off, thank you for the improvements to the Linux version of the player software -- I only needed a 2-line shell script to be made for the software to work properly with PCLinuxOS!
Now, the issue is that there is a 4 pixel line across the top of the full-screened window. I've tried to look at it, and it appears that it's not part of the template, but part of the chromium browser itself.

I am seeing this myself, I think this must have been introduced with the latest version of Chromium. This may be a limitation of full screen Chromium running in the Linux environment, but we will check that out for certain.
I have logged an issue for this that you can track here.
Thanks for helping us find this issue! -

I have this weird grey line at the top of my screen when my presentation is running. I can only see it when RV player is running. Is this common problem with Ubuntu?

Hey! I would be interested to know what direction this issue is going. Can we use linux with our interactive presentations in the future?

I've seen some versions of Linux running on interactive screens, however I have never tested it myself. There is no reason why you couldn't run an interactive Presentation on a Linux screen, you would just need to ensure that Linux had the appropriate drivers installed and worked correctly with the touchscreen.

I'm in the process of building a multiple display schedule system for my church. Though I'm a complete rookie at software like this, I know my way around PCs. My first computer was a Commodore 64. I saw that XP is no longer supported so Ubuntu is the best option. I'd rather adjust the size and placement of my display screen than use a proprietary OS. I can live with it until it's fixed.

Hi there, welcome to the forum!
This issue is indeed corrected with a newer version of Chromium for Linux that we will be rolling out soon, so I will update this post when it is corrected.
Thanks! -
